READ AND WIN $50 VOUCHER GIVEAWAY! PLUS CHECK THE READER PRIZE WINNER FROM LAST TIME! DETAILS AT THE END.

Hey everyone! At our awards parties, we present 15 different awards to our front-line shops. But what are the awards? And why? Today, let’s take a closer look at Best Customer Service, Best Promotor and Servant Leader awards.

Best Customer Service sounds simple – but what does ’best’ mean? Each customer has different needs, so this award is for creating the best customer satisfaction. It’s open to everyone from shop managers to part-timers.

If our area managers judge that you deliver the friendliest, most attentive service which goes the extra mile, you could win the Best Customer Service prize!

2024 Customer Service Award winners: Regional winner Tee (Papamoa), Auckland second place Shobna (Takanini) and third place Lina (Ormiston) with Director Costa

Is this the image of customer service you deliver?

The Best Promotor award is typically for shop managers, and recognises people who showcase our products at their best. This means knowing the products, explaining them to customers, and recommending what customers will like.

But before that, it means always making sure everyone who walks in has a wide range of appealing options to choose from. How attractive is your sushi fridge or bento cabinet? If it makes customers hungry for more, you could be Best Promotor!

Finally, Servant Leader recognises department managers who put their staff first. Managers who prioritise the well-being and growth of their people build a strong, motivated team, which delivers the most important outcome at St Pierres – customer satisfaction.

Servant Leadership is part of our Partnership Programme to develop the next generation of leaders. If you’re ready to lead a team to success, please get in touch!

Servant leaders prioritize the growth, well-being, and success of the people they serve above their own power or status. At St. Pierre’s, this means managers put their staff first — supporting their development, valuing their contributions, and creating a positive workplace. When employees feel respected and empowered, they are more motivated to provide excellent service, which leads to the most important outcome for St. Pierre’s customer satisfaction.
