Hey everyone! Welcome to our first shop opening of 2025. On Thursday 8 May, we opened a shop at Westfield Albany!
Albany is a commercial hub of Auckland’s North Shore, and the Westfield Albany mall is its focal point. We’ve had a shop nearby for some years now, but this is our first shop in Westfield Albany mall itself. We’re proud to open this new shop, and really happy that so many locals turned out on opening day!
Director of Marketing Nick was excited about the shop opening, saying that
“For some time now, Westfield Albany has been one of the most requested new locations on social media. Thanks to all the customers who told us what you wanted, and who turned up in big numbers on opening day!
Our location is right at the main entrance, perfectly positioned for grab and go needs, suiting customers with busy lifestyles. The shop has been busy since day one, a reflection of the strong support we enjoy among North Shore people and of the effort our team has put in.
Finally, we’re really happy to be working with Westfield again. We’re already open in Newmarket, St. Lukes and Manukau centres, and this new shop further builds a successful relationship. Thanks to everyone at Westfield for their support!”

General Manager of Property Steve was very pleased, commenting that
“The site provided a challenge timing and design wise. However, our design and delivery team again created another stunning shop experience for our loyal customers, despite the short time frame.
On a personal level, I particularly like the free-hanging fluorescent St Pierres wordmark. It’s a signature feature which makes the store pop. Overall, we just love the new shop and I’m sure Cherry and her team will enjoy working there.”
Cherry was very happy with the opening, commenting that:
“I have been with St Pierres for some years now at Oteha Valley and Henderson before that, working my way up to manager. However, this is my first shop opening. I was excited and nervous before opening day, but it went really well.
A big thanks to the area managers and North Shore shop managers – their support made the successful opening possible.
Above all, I’ve been so touched by customers and colleagues from previous shops coming by to show their support. Their continued trust and kindness mean the world to me.”
