Welcome back! It’s nearly the end of the year, which at St. Pierre’s means awards party season! First up was Auckland – check out the amazing costumes and wonderful prize winners!
Awards parties are real highlights of our year, and we love bringing the St. Pierre’s family together. The Auckland party was held at the Imperial Palace in Panmure on Monday 30 October, with around 350 staff packing out the venue. All upper North Island shop staff are invited, and some came from as far away as Whangārei, Tauranga, Rotorua and New Plymouth to the Auckland bash.
Awards parties are about celebrating all shop staff, and in particular recognising the high performers over the last year. A total of 15 awards for a wide range of achievements were awarded, including for part time and full time crew of the year, best service, and best food quality, culminating with a $3,500 prize for Manager of the Year!
Some national award winners are based in Wellington or Christchurch, so we’ll post a separate article featuring all the winners nationwide!
What makes our awards parties special is the mix of the serious (awards) and not too serious (costumes). Fancy dress is encouraged, and some staff go to great lengths! This year’s theme was “Hollywood,” with attendees encouraged to dress as their favourite film or TV character, celebrity or red carpet attendee. And did our team deliver! We saw all sorts of amazing outfits, from geisha to Indian princesses to anime characters… and just about everything else imaginable!
