Welcome! The theme of this year’s conference was “People First: What’s Important is You.” We’re focusing on our amazing people, starting with recognising their achievements. Why? The more we share success stories, the more our front-line staff will be inspired to new heights of creativity and leadership!
At conferences, we always celebrate our highest achievers. This year, the total number of awards grew to 62, our most ever. The store evaluation awards recognised shops which had outstanding customer service, quality of products and cleanliness. The achievement awards highlight our sales leaders, both in dollar terms and percentage increases. In this way, most of our awards are available to all shops, large or small!
Finally, the special achievement awards celebrated Timaru shop, for the best store opening, Ruakura shop, for the best stability, and Shota, for amazing IT innovations.
But the best part of conferences is always hearing from managers themselves about their experiences. One of the speakers was Tim, one of our most successful managers. He spoke eloquently about his journey and how he achieved success – enjoy!
