Dear St Pierres Family
Since early October I have been mostly travelling around NZ visiting with you and I am continually so amazed at the fantastic people and teams we have throughout NZ.
Another year has passed and I would like to thank you all for the incredible work you all do at St Pierre’s!
As usual you have all done an amazing job and I would like to personally thank you for your energy commitment and enthusiasm!
They say that the success of any Company is greatly influenced by the people who work there and this is certainly true in our case!

We have had another very eventful year especially in the second half of the year.
This included: NATIONWIDE :
* Profit sharing (2022) held in March 2023
* Our Sushi Master Contest held in July
* Japan food culture experience trip for leading managers in October
* Annual awards parties in October/November
* Profit sharing 2023 held in Nov/Dec

All the events were fun and exciting and I thank you to all for attending these events which form a very important part of the Partnership Culture in our Company.
Our Company Performance
With regard to our Company performance after strong sales in the first hald of the year, we saw a softening of sales from July as people became budget conscious due to the cost of living and uncertainty in the economy.
However many stores especially in the regions like Ashburton, Hastings, Rotorua, and Whangarei still showed great sales increases. Well done to you all!
Fortunately with the Summer coming we have seen a slow but good return to better sales and confidence and this has reflected with Zoe approving more bonuses!
With the Borders now fully open the serious short staffing we had year ago has also been mostly solved which is a great blessing.

Finally with 2023 almost behind us I would like to wish you and all your families a very safe happy and joyful Christmas and a very happy and prosperous new year 2024.
